Their set was wildly inconsistent, but it sprang to life when the group previewed songs from its forthcoming album, &ldquo;Lies for the Liars.&rdquo; Part rumination on mortality, part bitter kiss-off to former friends My Chemical Romance (McCracken sneered &ldquo;It ain&rsquo;t no &lsquo;Black Parade,&rsquo;&rdquo; a reference to that group&rsquo;s last album), the material had a darkness and a danger the rest of the night desperately lacked. &ldquo;Liar! Liar!&rdquo; McCracken seethed over one new song&rsquo;s white-hot, corkscrewing riff.
